These Singing Classes are for all singers at whatever level.

Held on selected Saturdays at the  Social centre, St James Church, Spanish Place, London W1, throughout the year, the Marylebone Singing Workshop has proved popular with singers from all over.

We start at around 10.30 after coffee with the first session dedicated to light exercise and vocal wam-ups...always fun.

We then start work on different styles of songs and often in parts. Some singers bring a solo that they want airing in front of kind like-minded folk and tutors Liz and Gerry offer tips and musical guidance on them.

The area around Marylebone High Street is colourful and worth the visit giving  added interest to newcomers for a few moments during lunch. 

The class usually ranges from 8 to 20 people.

All are welcome especially if you would like to improve on your singing.

Spend a cheerful day with like minded singers and learn something new.

Come and spend a whole day enjoying singing and even improving on your breathing, posture, music and vocal sounds whilst singing new and interesting pieces of music, sometimes in parts. Help will be given on breathing, support, language, when appropriate, phrasing and general musicianship.

Expert advice is given throughout the day.

Fee for the day:  £30

All music is provided.

Singers are encouraged to bring solos if they wish. The emphasis is on a fun-filled working day.
