Elizabeth Nash - Soprano

Whilst at College, I trained to be a Music teacher, giving many recitals there before studying Singing at the Guildhall School of Music.

Competitions took me abroad and Master classes in Aldeburgh were really beneficial especialliy as I met several inspiring singers there namely: Peter Pears;  Hugues Cuenod;  Heather Harper;  Antony Rolfe-Johnson and Martin Isepp.

In the Operatic field, I have sung with several small companies singing the roles Fiordiligi; Suzanna; Ilia;  Giannetta; Alice Ford; Anne Trulove; Gretel; Belise and Venus.

Following on from this, I then joined English National Opera for a while and also the BBC Singers and the London Voices and have performed 'live' on Classic FM.

Solo performances have taken me as far as Canada, France and Switzerland.

I also enjoy singing in many different styles including opera 'pops' for various choir concerts.

My several CDs contain music from Spain by Meridian:  'Mosaic d'Espana' - a recording of Spanish and Sephardic songs with guitar; English Songs by composer Walter Leigh with piano and also a recording of Chamber duets and solos with Musica Primavera.
